Eneabba Gas Limited - Energy Generation for Regional Infrastructure in Western Australia

Carbon Neutral

EGL had its conservation area around the proposed power station site assessed for review with the Australian Greenhouse Office in 2007. This area of some 1,212.7 Hectares (approx 3,000 acres) represents around 67% of the total land owned by the company.

In simplified terms, the assessment identified for the 1,212.7 Ha is a potential credit which could likely offset some 30.5 MW per annum or 18% of the Centauri 1 Power Station capacity.

This initial action confirms and demonstrates EGL’s commitment to ensure that with progressing a carbon neutral site, the company’s customers will enjoy and share an operational and commercial benefit that ensures environmentally efficient delivery of power.
